Quadratic Equations

In polynomials we have studied different types of polynomials. Quadratic polynomial is one of the types of polynomial where the degree of the polynomial is two and when is equated to zero which of the form ax^2+bx+c=0  is called quadratic equation. Solving quadratic equations in general form is often credited to ancient Indian Mathematician Brahmagupta who gave an explicit formula to solve a quadratic equation of the form ax^2+bx+c=0
